Holy crap! KC is moving to Omaha (cue Counting Crows song)!

Ironically, for me anyway, I think this means she won’t be able to attend the August 16 Counting Crows concert a bunch of us are going to. Still, in honor of her big, but temporary (thank the good lord) move, I give you one of Counting Crow’s best songs – which I will promptly be singing until she returns safely to the mean streets of DC:

As we were discussing yesterday, turns out Omaha is the next big cultural hot-spot. The jury is still out on whether to consider this state city west or Midwest. Wikipedia says Midwest, but KC made a compelling argument for the west. We’ll just have to see.

Either way, I’m going to miss her oh! so much, but Marlboro Man is lucky to have her on his campaign. Also, in a related note, there’s a DC fundraiser on June 11 for her candidate that I’ll probably attend. More information here.
