Disgusting, disgraceful, and disappointing.
But, I guess, like Peter Rothberg at The Nation said (and much like the way I felt about the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal), who cares? I mean… do we think he’s the only politician to do this (or only man, for that matter), and more importantly, does it affect his ability to do his job?
I hope I haven’t opened a can of worms with this opinion.
UPDATE: Via Ben Smith, his comment on the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal, printed in the News & Observer, certainly doesn’t help:
I think this President has shown a remarkable disrespect for his office, for the moral dimensions of leadership, for his friends, for his wife, for his precious daughter. It is breathtaking to me the level to which that disrespect has risen.

The whole idea of “it’s personal and private” was espoused by the same Clinton cabinet members who the week before defended Lil’ Bill as being innocent came out and floated that question as a defense to their defense of having been fooled by their leader.
Lenny Davis, Hillary and Lil’ Bill’s friend, just said on FOX SPEWS that it’s an inappropriate political discussion to have, on Edwards’ adultery, and is inappropriate for all past presidents – and then ran off a list of DEMOCRAT president’s who cheated on their wives!!
