I know you’re all just dying to find out what I made for my snopocalypse breakfast.
Well, wonder no more.
Last night, my Tivo recorded an episode of Barefoot Contessa called “Breakfast Pantry” that was perfectly timed for snow festivities. Ina suggested scrambled eggs with herbs, and while I didn’t have exactly what she suggested – Whole Foods was out of parsley, twitter told me – I improvised and used red onion, arugula, dill, and pecorino cheese instead.
Delish!
Plus – my breakfast cocktail (Juice of a Few Flowers) didn’t hurt either. Thanks for the ideas, Ina!
